Willowglow Burmese Cats
Registered Breeder of affectionate pedigree Burmese cats and kittens
Located in the peaceful suburbs of Sydney, New South Wales.
At Willowglow Burmese, our goal is simple: to raise beautiful, confident Burmese kittens that are healthy, happy, and ready to become treasured members of your family. We prioritise wellbeing and personality—because every cat deserves a loving start.
Welcome to Willowglow, a small-scale, in-home cattery where our Burmese cats are more than pets—they’re family. From the moment they’re born, our kittens are nurtured in a calm, home environment, initially raised in a warm, cosy nursery and gradually introduced to larger living spaces, including a spacious sunroom where they can stretch, explore, and enjoy the fresh air.

Because we deeply value socialisation and temperament, our kittens are lovingly handled from day one and become familiar with everyday household sounds and rhythms. We raise only one litter at a time to give every kitten the attention it deserves. Most of our kittens are chocolate, brown, lilac, or blue—classic and beloved colours of the Burmese breed.

Our kittens are ready to join new families between 11–12 weeks of age. By then, each one is:

Why Choose a Burmese?
Burmese cats are playful, intelligent, and affectionate. They thrive on human company and are often described as “puppy-like” in their loyalty and behaviour. Whether curling up beside you, fetching toys, or simply being their cheeky, talkative selves, Burmese cats bring laughter, warmth, and companionship to any household.
Many of our cats love interactive games and are known for their quirky personalities. They’re curious explorers and loving lap warmers—all rolled into one silky-coated bundle of joy.
Please Consider…
Burmese are true companion cats. They don’t enjoy solitude and can become distressed if left alone for long periods. For families who are often out, we recommend considering a pair to keep each other company. As Dr. Harry wisely says, “The only thing better than one Burmese… is two!” For their safety, we strongly advise keeping Burmese cats indoors or in secure outdoor enclosures. They are trusting and fearless by nature—and unfortunately, that makes them vulnerable.

Are Burmese cats good with children and other pets?
Yes. Burmese cats generally get along well with children, other cats, and even dogs. They are gentle, adaptable, and enjoy being part of a lively household.
At what age can I adopt a Burmese kitten?
Kittens are ready for adoption between 11 and 12 weeks of age. By that time, they are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated twice, and well-socialised.
What colours do Burmese cats come in?
Burmese cats come in several colours. The most common are chocolate, brown, lilac, and blue. Occasionally, you may also see other recognised colours such as red, cream, and tortoiseshell.
Can Burmese cats be left alone during the day?
Burmese cats are highly social and do not enjoy being left alone for long periods. They need companionship and mental stimulation. If your home is often empty, it is recommended to adopt a second cat or provide enrichment activities.
Are Burmese cats indoor-only pets?
